Pre-Bar 2026/27
Ghana's first Pre-Bar class. Be first class.
The law moved. Old answers didn't.
Section 384(1) of the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) repealed the Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179). Past questions show what was asked. Not how to answer it on today's law.
Built for the Pre-Bar. Made for the Bar.
The four Pre-Bar courses in plain English, and weak answers marked in red pen beside model answers, so you see where marks are won and lost.
GH¢199 founding price for the first 200 to pay. Reserved seats get it first, from Sunday 8 November, 7 pm.
The heart of every pack
See where marks are lost, and where they are won
A weak answer marked in red pen sits beside a model answer. The marker's notes are in the margin, next to the line they judge.
The question, with Ghanaian facts
Answer A · weak
7/20- Which section? Name it.
- Wrong test. A good outcome doesn't cure it.
Answer B · model
18/20- Issue spotted ✓
- Exact section ✓
- Applied to the facts ✓
Every question in a pack comes with
- The question, with Ghanaian facts
- The law behind it in plain English, with a Ghanaian example
- Where the marks are: a simple marking scheme
- Answer A: a weak answer marked in red pen, comment by comment
- Answer B: a model answer in IRAC form
- Why B beats A
- The sections and cases to cite
- The common traps, and how to avoid them
12 exam-style questions per course (8 problem, 4 essay), across the major topics of the course.
The shelf
All four Pre-Bar courses
Every topic starts with a story you already know.
Corporate and Commercial Law
“Uncle Kwaku, a director of the family company, sells his own land to the company at double the price and tells nobody. Can he keep the profit?”
Some schools teach this as Company Law and Commercial Law. Both are covered.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
“Two Makola traders agreed to arbitrate. One rushes to the High Court anyway. What can the other do?”
Family Law
“Esi and Kwabena built a house in Kasoa, but only his name is on the papers. They divorce. Does Esi get a share?”
Interpretation of Deeds and Statutes
“No vehicles in the lorry park after 10pm.” Is an aboboyaa a vehicle? A wheelbarrow?
Why you can trust it
No invented law. Ever.
- Built from the law itself
- Every answer is built from the Acts, the Constitution and the judgments themselves. Not from someone's old notes.
- Checked before you see it
- Every section and case is checked against its source. Our rule: nothing reaches you until a qualified lawyer signs it off.
- Find a wrong authority, get the credit
- Find a wrong authority in a published lesson and tell us. We fix it, log the fix publicly, and name the first person who reported it, if they want.
I'm Kwame Brempong, an LLB graduate in the 2026/27 Pre-Bar. I sit the same four courses, at the same pace, as you.

Questions
Are these past questions?
No. The Pre-Bar's subjects have been taught at the Ghana School of Law for years, so past questions exist. They show what was asked, not how to answer it on today's law. We study them so you practise what actually gets asked. But every question here is our own, with fresh facts, and every answer is written on today's law and checked against the Act or the judgment. We never show real exam papers, and we never pass off answers that circulate as ours.
Who checks the law?
Every section and case an answer cites is checked against the Act or the judgment itself. Then the founder reviews it, and a qualified lawyer reviews it. Our rule: nothing reaches you until a qualified lawyer signs it off. Find a wrong authority in a published lesson and tell us: we fix it, log the fix publicly, and credit the first person who reported it.
Does reserving cost anything?
No. Reserving your seat is free and you pay nothing now. When doors open, people who reserved get 48 hours of early access before everyone else. After you reserve, add the email you'll sign in with: that is how we give you your 48 hours. The first 200 people to pay get the founding price.
What is the founding price?
GH¢199, paid once, for the Pre-Bar Pass: all four Marked Answer Packs as they are released. No monthly bills. It is for the first 200 people to pay.
My school splits Company Law and Commercial Law. Is that covered?
Yes. Pick your school when you sign up. If your school teaches it as two courses, Company Law and Commercial Law, we follow that.
Will it work on my phone and data?
Yes. It's built light, for Android phones on mobile data.
Is this run by the GLC or my school?
No. Ghana Bar Coach is an independent study companion, made by an LLB graduate in the 2026/27 Pre-Bar. It is not affiliated with the GLC, the Ghana School of Law or the Ghana Bar Association. It is a study aid, not legal advice.
I'm a lawyer. How can I help?
Thank you, Counsel. Choose “Lawyer” at the top of the form: join #PassTheWig, offer to review lessons before they reach students, or sponsor a seat for a student who can't afford one.
History will remember the first Pre-Bar class. Make sure it remembers you ready.
